A teen lesbian was brutally beaten by group of men in Kentucky. She says prior to the incident, the men were following her and yelling anti-gay slurs.

A gay couple in Mississippi says they are the target of anti-gay hate. The two men say they fear for their lives after their home and car have been vandalized. The men also say they’ve received homophobic taunts and threats from neighbors.

After Florida’s Lt. Governor Jennifer Carroll is accused of having a lesbian affair, she cites stereotypes about butch women. “Black women that look like me don’t engaged in [lesbian relationships],” she said.

A popular female televangelist admits to having affairs with women, but not before blaming it on drugs and abuse. “These were my choices and I made these choices due to a lack of wisdom,” she said.

New York City Council’s Christine Quinn admonished a carriage driver after his anti-gay outburst is caught on video. “The behavior depicted in this video is reprehensible and unacceptable from anyone,” wrote Quinn, “and is especially unbefitting of an industry the City Council has made sure treats its animals humanely.”

Tennis star Martina Navratilova wrote a letter urging New York to end the use of horse-drawn carriages. “Many PETA advocates, including me, are gay,” the tennis champ wrote. “We share a heightened sense of responsibility in fighting the callous disregard that many have for animal suffering because we have experienced a similar disregard for the cruelty that we ourselves have faced. You are a champion of gay rights; won’t you extend your compassion to the city’s beleaguered working animals?”

Conservative gay group GOProud criticizes the Victory Fund for working with Dan Savage. The group is upset over remarks Savage made, referring to them as “house faggots” for supporting Republican candidates with anti-gay voting records.

Ricky Martin criticizes Miss Peru for being homophobic. The Evita star tweeted about the beauty queen’s statements about gay kids. She said, “In my case, the day that God permits me to have children, it wouldn’t happen because these things happen perhaps because a child grew up without a father or was molested or lived with his mother and sisters became effeminate.”
