Wanted: Bachelors and Bachelorettes

Lassos and Lariats is looking for a few willing participants for a charity auction

Starting April 13, Lassos and Lariats will be raising money for the William Way Community Center and the Attic Youth Center during three nights of country dancing. The fundraiser culminates on the 15th with a Bachelor and Bachelorette Auction at Woody’s (6-9 p.m.) with all proceeds split between the two centers.

Michael Pomente, the William Way’s director of development, tells us that they’re still looking for a few willing and able participants to auction off for a great cause.

“I’m reaching out to ask you to nominate yourself or someone else,” says Pomante. “It’s all in good fun and all for charity.”

If you’re interested (or know someone who is), please visit the Lassos and Lariats Facebook page to find out how you can register. Or stop by the William Way this week to sign up.
