Owen Middleton is telling the world what it's like to become a man
A transgender teen is getting a lot of attention for the videos he’s posting on YouTube about his gender transition. The 18-year-old began posting candidly about his experience last month before beginning testosterone – for which he’s since had three injections.
As he goes forward with the process, we anticipate that he will continue to reveal what it’s like going through each stage as he lives with his parents and sister in Minnesota. We sure hope so. Middleton’s providing something that mainstream media rarely does: a glimpse into the life of a real teenager who’s making the transition. He’s even learning how to shave for the first time.
