Regular people and celebrities alike have a chance to share photographs of themselves, their friends, families and significant others in all facets of life – from work to play. The best images will be featured in an upcoming photo essay in November.

Last year’s collection featured everyone from Jake Shears working out at the Chelsea Piers in New York to same-sex couples spending time with their kids in California to people getting ready for work and just sharing snapshots of their day.

Here’s the lowdown:

You don’t need to be a professional photographer.

Take the photo anytime between 12 am. and 11:59 p.m. today, Aug. 12.

Viist the Advocate/DayinGayAmerica to upload your photo by Friday, Aug. 19.

Photos should be at least 4 x 6 inches or 300 dpi and no larger that 5 MB. JPEG only.
