The Eagles made a roster tweak at wide receiver Friday, claiming Greg Salas off of waivers from the New England Patriots and releasing Mardy Gilyard.
The 6-1, 209-pound Salas was originally a fourth-round draft choice of the Rams in 2011 and had 27 receptions for 264 yards in his rookie season. He was traded to the Patriots in September but played in just one game before eventually being waived.
Salas attended the University of Hawaii and finished his collegiate career with 285 catches for 4,345 yards and 26 touchdowns.
