Few things complement a classic film better than a strong drink. And the Bryn Mawr Film Institute agrees: they’re hosting a special screening of After the Thin Man — with a free martini included with each ticket.

The film stars William Holden and Myrna Loy as Nick and Nora Charles, the perpetually tipsy, quippy husband-and-wife detectives at the center of the Thin Man movies. In this 1936 sequel, Nora’s blue-blooded relatives call on the duo to solve another mystery.

Tickets for the screening on Thursday, December 14th are $15, or $12 if you’re a Bryn Mawr Film Institute member. The price includes one complimentary martini courtesy of The Grog Grill.

Drinks start at 6 p.m. for a 7 p.m. screening on Thursday, December 14th in the institute’s historic theater at 824 West Lancaster Avenue in Bryn Mawr. Get your tickets here.
