Sunday Dinners For Two At Bufad

Their Sunday Gravy program is one of the best deals in town.

Bufad has always been a solid place for the Spring Garden neighbors to pick up Roman and Neapolitan pizzas, snacks, the occasional pasta like hand-cut fettucine with a rabbit ragu.

But now, they’re also doing a full-on Sunday dinner for two–their Sunday Gravy program. And here’s how it works.

It’s a four-course family-style meal with pasta in meat gravy, “church-style” tomato pie with slow-cooked red sauce, garlic, fresh basil and oregano, an Italian chopped salad and whatever Italian dessert the kitchen feels like putting together. The best thing about it? $40 gets you a meal for two–which is pretty cheap these days. And since Bufad is BYO? Bring in a couple bottles and you’ve got yourself a killer Sunday dinner for you and a friend. And all for less than fifty bucks.

The dinner is served every Sunday from 4:30pm until close. And because it’s turning out to be a pretty popular service among the neighbors, Bufad is taking reservations. Just something to keep in mind if you’re the planning-ahead type.
