This Weekend: Holiday Beer Dinner At Lolita

This weekend (actually on Sunday the 11th and Monday the 12th), Lolita is going to be celebrating the holiday season in two of the best possible ways: with beer and tacos. Because seriously, what better way to get a jump on the cold than by refusing to cave too early to the root vegetables and stews that the season demands?

For $38 per person (not including tax or tip), Lolita is offering a three-course meal paired with three holiday-appropriate beers. Here’s how the menu and pairings look:

December 11 & 12

First Course:

Smoky Morita Chile Shrimp Gorditas with black beans, crispy hominy cakes, avocado and pickled mango
Paired with Firestone Walker Pivo Pilsner (Paso Robles, CA)

Second course:

Wild Mushroom-Chorizo Fundido with charred corn, pico de gallo and totopos mixtos.
Paired with Troegs Blizzard of Hops (Hershey, PA)

Third course:

Ancho-Coffee Rubbed Pork Ribs with Korean-spiced pork belly, queso Oaxaca, salsas, pickles and served with fresh corn tortillas to make tacos.
Paired with New Belgium-Orval, Imperial Spiced Ale (Fort Collins, CO)
