The Fat Ham Opens at King of Prussia Mall

Kevin Sbraga’s Southern food concept, the Fat Ham opens today at the King of Prussia Mall. In addition to the Fat Ham’s signature hot chicken, the suburban outpost offers  a full menu of toasts, salads, entrees and sandwiches. The Fat Ham will be open in the mall’s Savor expansion for lunch and dinner, Monday through Saturday: 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday: 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

In addition to low country classics like pimento cheese and shrimp and grits, the latest from the Top Chef winning chef also offers St. Louis style ribs and a Texas style brisket sandwich. For the shoppers who are on the go, the Fat Ham in King of Prussia offers lighter options like a kale salad.

If you do want to linger, the Fat Ham has a brown-spirit focused cocktail program by head bartender Dan Carr. Cocktails include University favorites like his Stars Fell on Alabama, a barrel-aged cocktail with bourbon, orange flower, bitters, and Absinthe. Also on the list a Memphis Mule with basil and grapefruit infused vodka and “Where There’s Smoke …,” a cocktail Carr created for us on Facebook Live.
