Lunch And Weekend Brunch Service Starts At Mission Taqueria

Mission Taqueria–the new taco concept opened by Sam Mink of Oyster House–has only been open a month, but they’ve already made a splash with their dinner service and happy hour.
But now? Mink and his partner, Brett Naylor (exec chef at Oyster House) are cranking things up with brand new lunch and brunch services.
First, lunch. It’ll run weekdays, from 11:30am to 2pm and features tortas, tacos, salads, a couple burritos and lots of snacks. You can check out the menu at the link below.
For brunch? Saturdays and Sunday, 11:30am to 3pm, and the menu is virtually the same, except that the salads have been replaced by four egg dishes–huevos rancheros, chilequiles, a desayuno torta (breakfast sandwich) with homemade scrapple, eggs, tomato, watercress and chipotle mayo, and a breakfast burrito which is, well, a breakfast burrito.
And let’s not forget that one of the big draws for brunch is drinking and one of the cool fetaures Mission has is a juice bar right next to the kitchen, putting out all kinds of fresh-squeezed juices. And fresh juice + liquor sounds like a fine way to wash down Sunday breakfast to me.
