PHS South Street Pop-Up Garden Announces Fall Plans

Luaus, football, Oktoberfests and Halloween highlight fall at the PHS garden.

Has the summer heat had you avoiding any outdoor activity? Have you felt a little guilty about not being to the PHS South Street Pop-Up Garden in weeks? Well let it be known you will have all the way to the end of October to enjoy the idyllic garden. And there will be plenty of events to keep you entertained. In fact the fire pits have already arrived. S’mores, anyone?

Labor Day weekend will be a Luau at the Garden with a pig roast, bands and beer and rum cocktail specials thanks to Captain Lawrence and Sailor Jerry respectively. The luau runs from Saturday, September 3rd through Monday, September 5th.

 

Oktoberfest at the garden begins Tuesday, September 27th and runs through Sunday, October 2nd. Look for $5 mulled wine, $6 cinnamon shots and cider. There will also be bratwurst eating and stein hoisting contests, as well as oompah bands, costumes contest, prizes and giveaways.

On Sundays throughout the fall, televisions will be available for Eagles games.

Halloween weekend will be the final weekend for the garden. Look out for costume contests and spooky cocktail specials.
