Three chefs are shaking things up this summer and rolling out new menus at their new spots.

Chris Ritter, who has most recently been at Westmont’s Keg and Kitchen after stints at Grubhouse and Brauhaus Schmitz is back in South Philly manning the burners at Tap Room on 19th. Ritter has already made changes to the menu including the pictured Japanese Fried Chicken sandwich and Lucifer burger with 1732 Meats garlic bacon and Lucifer spice pickles.

Ned Maddock has been named chef de cuisine at XIX Nineteen, on the 19th floor of the Hyatt at the Bellevue. Maddock started his career in Chicago, but moved to Philly in 2011. Since then he has worked with the Vetri Family restaurant group as an executive sous chef at Amis and, most recently, Lo Spiedo. Maddock will be overseeing and developing new menu concepts at XIX Nineteen.

The Twisted Tail is also getting in on the game of chef shuffle, but this time they’re bringing back a familiar face. Leo Forneas is returning as executive chef at his old stomping grounds. He is bringing a new menu with him (check it out below), an update on their Southern-inspired concept with a new focus on shared plates.

So nothing too drastic with the these changes, but just enough to start summer out with some menus to look forward to.
