Honeygrow is on the verge of rolling out a new menu at each of its stores. The rollout of the new menu will begin with the reopening of the original store at 110 South 16th Street. A date that hasn’t been set but is still a couple of weeks away. From there, culinary director David Katz will oversee the rollout the rest of the stores. The new menu will include new salads and stir-frys.

Among the most interesting:

Salads:

  • Walnut St. Noodle Salad
walnut lemon dressing, freshly made whole wheat noodles, organic arugula, mushrooms, raw cauliflower, roasted walnuts, parmesan crisps.
  • Caravan
lemon curry yogurt dressing, green kale, organic baby spinach, roasted FreeBird chicken, cucumbers, raw cauliflower, tea-soaked raisins, almonds.
  • Old School
peppery ranch dressing, chopped romaine, organic baby spinach, carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, raw broccoli, Vermont cheddar, pumpernickel croutons.

Stir-Fry:

  • Sweet Soy Five Spice
brown rice, togarashi spiced turkey, green beans, red onions, sesame seeds.
  • Philly Roast Pork
freshly made egg white noodles, Yards Brawler au jus, roast pork, organic baby spinach, broccoli, chili flakes, asiago shavings.

The Sweet Soy Five Spice stir-fry represents the first rice based stir-fry on Honeygrow’s menu. Of course the make-you-own stir-fry and salad options will continue to be available as well as a seasonal salad that will rotate regularly. Vegan and gluten-free options remain for both salads and stir-frys.
