Forest & Main Is Expanding

Forest & Main is currently in the early stages of an expansion, which is especially good news for anyone who enjoys their funky barrel-aged saisons and bottle releases (which would mean us).

While the brewpub will remain the same, the new, bigger space (a roughly 3,100 square-foot floor in the warehouse next door) is going to be dedicated to barrel aging—about half of the space will be used for that. The other half will be a larger taproom, where they plan to have a stage to the side for live music (or, possibly, a puppet theatre, according to the owners, but they might have been joking about that).

Co-owner and brewer of Forest & Main, Gerard Olson, says that “the expansion next door is progressing slowly, but steadily.” So while we don’t know how soon this new place will be opening, it’s good to know that it is at least happening—and is undoubtedly something to look forward to.
