It’s National Breakfast Week (no, really), so we thought it was about time to compile a list of some of our favorite new (or new-ish) places in the city to get breakfast.

It’s the most important meal of the day, after all. And generally the only one that involves pancakes. So dig in.

Urban Farmer at the Logan

Just recently opened in Fishtown, Philly Style Bagels is the only place where you can get fresh, crispy bagels that were boiled in beer.

The American eatery offers an extensive brunch menu and offers classics like creamed chipped beef, along with more interesting choices like duck confit hash.

The Little Bird Bakery and Café

Jessica Nolen, wife of Jeremy Nolen (Whetstone and Brauhaus Schmitz) offers a selection of savory croissants like bacon and aged cheddar at her café, but it’s never too early for a milk and dark chocolate chunk cookie, either.
