The Little Lion Sets Opening Date

The Little Lion: Opening at 3rd and Chestnut.

Named for red-hot rapping Colonial statesman Alexander Hamilton, The Little Lion has announced it will be opening on Thursday, January 7th at 3rd and Chestnut Streets.

Executive chef Sean Ciccarone is working on the menu and shares some in-progress shots of several dishes.

Logan Turnpike Stone Ground Grits – Whipped Honey Butter, Vinegar Braised Mustard Greens

Sweet Corn Bisque (GF) Chive Oil, Roasted Corn, Toasted Pumpkin Seed

Buttermilk Fried Chicken – 1⁄2 Bird, Hot Cake, Pickled Watermelon Rind, Local Honey

The Little Lion will also feature a house pickling, curing and smoking program. Breads will be made in-house. and down the road, there are plans to make cheese in-house.
