Eight PA Brewers Win Medals at Great American Beer Festival

Plus two from New Jersey and one from Delaware.

The 2015 Great American Beer Festival winners have been announced and eight Pennsylvania beers brought home awards while New Jersey and Delaware added another three to the medal count. Saucony Creek’s Peach and Ginger Saison won the only Gold medal in the three-state area and Mount Holly, NJ upstart, Spellbound Brewing won Silver in the Wood and Barrel-Aged Beer category. Iron Hill won two Silver medals. The Chestnut Hill location won in the Belgian-Strong category while Media can brag about their medal in the Russian Imperial Stout category.

Silver: Russian Imperial Stout, Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant – Media, Media, PA

Munich-Style Helles
Bronze: Goldencold Lager, Susquehanna Brewing Co., Pittston, PA

Specialty Beer
