Great American Food Finds Premiers Tonight

Remember that Food Network show Great American Food Finds we told you about last month? In case you forgot to mark your calendar, the Erace brothers’ (of Green Aisle Grocery) new show premiers tonight, Monday, August 3rd at 9:30 PM.

The premise of the show: Adam and Andrew track down some awesome food things happening around the country to show off products and makers that no one knew about. The best part? The first four episodes all seem to be not too far from our front doors here in Philly: tonight, the two head to The Village Farm Bakery in the Delaware Water Gap to feast on their mac ‘n’ cheese pot pie (which is exactly what it sounds like).

Any other PA gems? Lots, actually. In episode two, they’ll check out tangy bacon marmalade from Bucks County, and follow it up with salted, bacon-infused brownies over in New Hope. Then, episode three will end with a stop in Kennett Square for Nomadic Pies.

But in case you just can’t get enough of the places the brothers are spotlighting, in these first four episodes they also head to spots in Connecticut and New Jersey. All this is to say that no matter what it is that catches your eye, you are not too far to try some yourself. Further, the Food Network has promised at least six episodes, meaning there is certainly more to come.

Watching tonight? Let us know what you think.
