HubBub Coffee is going back to its mobile roots.

The coffee shop, which started as a truck, is introducing a fleet of Cold Brew Trikes for the summer. The trikes will debut this Sunday, July 12th with a bike trek across Philadelphia. The fleet will find its way through University City (the ride starts at HubBub’s UCity location at 11am), Rittenhouse Square and South Street. However, you can follow the exact path via social media; they’ll update their Twitter and Instagram with the route.

Are these trikes worth tracking? Take it from someone who’s drinking their cold brew as we speak… Yes.

Both trikes will carry one keg of cold-brewed iced coffee. This coffee, created through a partnership with ReAnimator Coffee, brews for 24 hours to develop an expertly crafted cup. And most importantly, it’s cold. Perfect for this weather and not watered down by an excessively large scoop of ice.

Not around this weekend? Chill. The trikes and the cold brew will be around all summer.

This special cold brew is available at all three of HubBub’s brick and mortar locations. But come on, the trike is so cute. Go check it out.

Pregame your Saturday brewery tour at the trike. Find it outside of Yard’s Brewery every Saturday. Also, the trikes will visit a different Philly neighborhood every 2nd and 4th Tuesday for “Cold-Brewsday.” Take advantage of free samples as the good people of HubBub get to know their neighbors. Neighborhoods will be revealed via social media so check your feeds. Next, trikes plan on being present at festivals, events and landmark locations. No details beyond that, but Twitter will clue you in eventually. Trikes are also available for private events by appointment.

Finally, there’s talk about a Trike Coming Out Party. This bike friendly party will feature several two-wheeled vendors and cold brew samples. Stay tuned.
