Since Thursday is essentially Friday, there is nothing stopping you from hitting the town once work lets out. But if the ever-nearing weekend isn’t quite enough to get you up and out the door, perhaps these updates on the newest installment of the Food Trust’s Night Market will help to nudge you in the right direction.
June 18th from 6PM – 10 PM, the Night Market is making its way to Callowhill for the first time. Alongside food vendors from past Night Markets, there will be newbies to try as well: Rio Brazilian Steak Truck, Philly Chicken ‘n Rice, Roe Thai and Japanese, and Sweet Nectar Delights (just with those options alone, I’ve already envisioned a four course meal).
Need a drink pairing? Take a break in the Underground Arts beer garden, or enjoy a local brew from Penn Distributors. Need entertainment? Watch performances from Dance Philadelphia. Need more? Make stops at Bufad, Prohibition Taproom, and the Trestle Inn for their Night Market specials. I’m not sure what else you could need, but if there is something else you desire, you’ll likely find it at one of the other 70 food vendors.
With Center City Sips on Wednesdays and Thursday events like this, your “weekends” this summer may quickly overtake your weeks. Enjoy it while it lasts!
