It’s proving to be a busy month at Le Virtu and Brigantessa, especially for chef Joe Cicala. For the start of the spring season, the two restaurants are hosting a variety of events lasting until April 30th. We already mentioned the Scott Schroeder spuntini takeover happening on April 2, but here’s a round-up of what else is happening at the sister restaurants.

March 26: In honor of Philly wine week, there will be a five-course wine dinner with The Wine Merchant’s Nico Raia for $75 per person at Brigantessa. Rare and unusual Italian wines will be featured with Chef Cicala’s dishes.

April 2: Chef Scott Schroeder of South Philly Taproom and American Sardine Bar will be joining Chef Cicala for a one-night Spuntini Takeover at Brigantessa.

April 5: Don’t feel like cooking at home on the holiday? Make your reservations at either Brigantessa or Le Virtu for a special Easter Menu featuring favorite dishes and seasonal specialities.

April 8: Join Chef Cicala and Chef Townsend Wentz of Townsend for a Collaborative Chef’s Dinner at Le Virtu. The four-course dinner will be accompanied by wine pairings from the Le Virtu team and Townsend sommelier Lauren Harris. $85 per person including pairings.

April 16: For those who are more interested in beer, Brigantessa will be pouring four rare artisanal Italian beers accompanied with a beer menu for $60 per person.

April 23: Explore the wonders of Abruzzo from the comfort of Philadelphia with a five-course National Parks of Abruzzo Dinner at Le Virtu. The menu will feature fare from the region’s three national parks paired with Tre Bicchieri-winning Abruzzo wines. $85 per person.
