KOP Hosts Restaurant Week

From March 2 to March 8, dineKOP will host pre-fixe meals at participating restaurants.

For all of those in the suburbs who missed out on Center City Restaurant Week, the King of Prussia District is holding their own version, running from March 2 to March 8, called dineKOP.

Portions of the proceeds from participating restaurants will be donated to CHOP’s new specialty care center, which will open in King of Prussia this summer. In addition, CHOP families are invited to dine at the participating restaurants for a special restaurant experience. So that’s all very nice.

For the customers, participating restaurants will be offering prix fixe lunch menus running $10, $15 or $20, and a dinner menu for $20, $30, or $40.

Participating restaurants include places like Seasons 52, Viviano, Maggiano’s, California Pizza Kitchen and Cantina Laredo, but the smart play here? Steakhouses. Because of the density of meat palaces in and around KOP, the restaurant week list is heavy with places to get fat steaks. And say what you will, but $40 for a wedge salad, a bone-in dry-aged sirloin, mashed potatoes and a flourless espresso cake at Capital Grille is a helluva deal.

For updated lists and menus, check here. And if you’re looking for a way to win a free gift card to a bunch of these KOP Restaurant Week restaurants (which is good any time, not just during the official Restaurant Week), then we’ve got a way to make that happen, too.
