Tickets On Sale Now For Philly Farm and Food Fest

Nothing says “organic yoga mom” like a Sunday farmer’s market trip. But if that’s not enough for you, you can up the ante on Sunday, April 12 at the Philly Farm and Food Fest to really show your friends how hip and earthy you are.

The festivities are going to be held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center (1101 Arch Street) from 11am-4pm. Attractions include book signings, meet-and-greets with local farmers, classroom demonstrations (like a class on whole animal butchery), and complimentary shopping totes from Whole Foods (and who doesn’t love free shopping totes?).

Standard tickets are $20 and can be purchased here, but if you’re feeling extra swanky you can spring for the $40 VIP ticket that gets you into the Preview Hour (10 am-11 am), so you can get an extra hour of farm fest fun where you’ll revel in your superiority by sipping on limited edition coffee samples and receiving a swag bag–which is infinitely cooler than the normal tote that the peasants with standard admission get. VIP tickets also get you into the “Local Libation Lounge,” which is a beer-garden type setting featuring top bartenders and mixologists pouring locally-produced beer, wine, and liquors for guests of legal age who don’t mind getting hammered on a Sunday before 5 pm. The Libation lounge costs an extra $10 for non-VIP ticket holders.

The fourth annual Farm and Food fest is a collaboration between PASA (the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture) and Fair Food. You can get more info on the event here.
