Andrew “Andy” Tessier is taking over the Twisted Tail

Chef Andrew “Andy” Tessier has been appointed the new head chef at The Twisted Tail. And he’s coming to the new post with an impressive resume.

Tessier worked for Daniel Boulud‘s restaurant group at Daniel, DBGB Kitchen & Bar and Boulud Sud. Then, once he’d worked his way through the Bolud empire, he hit Philly and did time under chef Josh Lawler as the chef de cuisine at The Farm and the Fisherman. After that, he went to join Eli Collins (another DBGB vet) at Pub & Kitchen, and now he’s been hired by the Twisted Tail to take over the kitchen.

In classic Twisted Tail fashion, Tessier’s menu will emphasize the contemporary (and so trendy) flavors of the American South while making use of his fine dining experience.
