A rundown on chain related news happening in and around Philadelphia.

Not Your Average Joe’s is coming to Ardmore’s Suburban Square on February 23rd. The Massachusetts-based, casual bar-restaurant chain is taking over the old movie theater at Suburban Square. The Ardmore location is the second are location for the chain, NYAJ opened in Glen Mills last year.

Also in Ardmore’s Suburban Square, Michael Klein has the details on Besito, an upscale Mexican chain from Long Island, New York that promises “a fiesta every night.”

MOD Pizza is coming to the Philadelphia area. Standing for Made on Demand, MOD Pizza is based out of Seattle and is looking to open five area locations. MOD, like several other battling concepts is aiming to be the “Chipotle of Pizza” in the fast casual sector. The chain has close to 30 locations already and is aiming for 100 coast-to-coast.

The first two in the Philadelphia area will be in Willow Grove, opening in March and in Wayne’s Gateway Shopping Center, opening in May.
