Yards PYNK Event Series Kicks Off

Join Yards Brewing Co. for their annual Yards Pynk events during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. There are brunches, PYNK cocktails, PYNK ice cream, a Weezer cover band, a reasonable excuse to go to the Hard Rock Cafe, and more. Proceeds from these events will help sponsor breast cancer research and treatments, and we’ve got a list of the upcoming events below.

  • Breast Brunch Ever at Alla Spina –  Featuring PYNK, Yards’ tart berry ale, Alla Spina’s brunch on September 21st will serve as the kick-off event for the Breast Brunch Ever series. The meal will feature a PYNK cocktail courtesy of Steve Wildy of The Vetri Group, plus pay-what-you-will PYNK on draught, with all proceeds going to the Tyanna Foundation. Yards will also donate $1 to Tyanna for every PYNK cocktail sold. The brunch is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Reservations can be made at (215) 600-0017 and are encouraged. The brunch series will continue into October.
  • Beer and Food Pairing at Hard Rock Cafe –  Join Yards’ own Kristin Caine at the Hard Rock Cafe for a special beer and food pairing event on September 23rd at 6 p.m. Partial proceeds from the pairing will go to the PA Breast Cancer Coalition.  IPA, Philadelphia Pale Ale, Brawler and PYNK will all be making an appearance alongside carefully chosen selections from the Hard Rock menu. Tickets for the event can be purchased online.
  • PYNK Affair 2 – On October 3rd at 7:30 p.m. Yards will be hosting its PYNK Affair 2 at the Yards Brewing Tasting Room. All event proceeds will benefit the Tyanna Foundation. Little Baby’s Ice Cream will be supplying a special “Pynk” ice cream made with Yards’ PYNK tart berry ale. Shake Shack has also teamed up with Yards PYNK for this event and will be providing burgers. In addition to the delicious food donation, Shake Shack will also donate $1 towards the cause for every bottle of PYNK sold at any of their three Philadelphia locations. The $10 cover at the door gets you a pint of PYNK and a scoop of PYNK ice cream. FREEZER, Little Baby’s Weezer tribute band, and Say It Ain’t Froyo, also made up of Little Baby’s employees, will be providing kick ass live tunes.
