In what they’re calling the “First Ever South Jersey Restaurant Week,” the Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (which owns and/or manages the Cherry Hill Mall, Moorestown Mall and Voorhees Town Center, among other properties) will be showcasing the best restaurants in South Jersey…which happen to be located in either the Cherry Hill Mall, Moorestown Mall or Voorhees Town Center.
Still, that means some pretty good restaurants are involved–including Jose Garces’s new Distrito (at the Moorestown Mall), Marc Vetri’s Osteria (at the Moorestown Mall), the Capital Grille (At the Cherry Hill Mall), Iron Hill (at the Voorhees Town Center) and a bunch of other places that really don’t need a restaurant week deal to lure in the schlubs for giant plates of empty carbs and regret (lookin’ at you Grand Lux Cafe).
Anyway, every restaurant is offering a different deal (like $10 for a burger, fries and a soda at Bobby’s Burger Palace or $30 for a 4-course choose-your-own-adventure meal at Distrito or $26.95 for pot roast cheese fries, caramel chicken and warm butter cake at Grand Lux–and no, I’m not making that up). Some are doing lunch and dinner, some are just doing dinner. There are some deals to be had (like at Distrito), and if you happen to find yourself wandering around South Jersey this weekend, a night spent at Osteria is never going to be a bad idea.
Check out the PREIT restaurant week page below for details on all the different restaurant deals.
