Broken Goblet Opens In Bristol

You may remember a post I wrote a few months ago about Broken Goblet–a brewery that was getting ready to open in Bristol. More to the point, you may remember commenting on it, as several of you did. Well here’s hoping that you all show as much support for them in person as you did in the comments section because Broken Goblet is launching to the public with a party July 12. And though I haven’t met them personally, they do seem like a nice bunch of guys.

Anyhoo, they’ll be opening with a ceremony just before noon on Saturday, then giving tours and serving beers the rest of the day. Eventually, they’ll be rotating six taps and cooking up light foods sourced from a farm that takes their spent grains to feed cattle. During the party they’re sticking to food trucks, some flagships and one-offs, and live entertainment throughout the day and evening.

Starting the following week, they’ll open their tap room Wednesday and Friday nights and Saturdays and Sundays. Their “vegan-compliant” beers include an oatmeal stout, cream ale, a high-gravity saison and two tea-infused options. If you don’t find the beers entertaining enough, owners will make use of their live sound stage and pro-grade sound and video system to host live performances, movies, gaming tournaments and sports viewing events.
