Global Pop-Ups At The Four Seasons

The Cafe at the Four Seasons Philadelphia (which is situated between the Lounge and the Fountain) is launching a new series of monthly, globe-trotting pop-up dinners designed to take guests to “some of our favorite culinary destinations around the world.”

And the first stop? Spain. On Wednesday, March 19, the Cafe will be laying out a selection of tapas and pinchos, paired with Spanish wines, from 5pm-8pm. As it stands right now, the menu will include Spanish classics like octopus a la plancha, Spanish tortilla, paella and special cheese and meat boards (read: jamon and manchego), and bottles of Spanish cava, sangria and Albarino wines to wash it all down with.

This is an a la carte kind of thing, with dishes ranging from $6-$12 and wines going in the $9-$14 range. And while reservations aren’t required, the Cafe space is rather cozy, so they are being accepted for those of you out there who like to plan ahead. Call 215-963-1500 to get yours.

Oh, and if you miss this brief trip to Spain? Have no fear. The Cafe is planning on doing these little pop-up dinners once a month, so just keep your eye out for the next one.
