Second Night of Tasting Tours Now on Sale


The second night of Philly Cooks Tasting Tours are on sale now (the first night sold outin a matter of hours). We’re offering three different neighborhood tours on Tuesday, February 18th. Rittenhouse Square, Washington Square West and Queen Village tours are all on sale now. Tickets to these events are very limited and sure to sell out fast.

Rittenhouse Square

Vernick Food and Drink: Chef Greg Vernick will demo and serve some of his menu hits (toasts, crudos) and bartender Vincent Stipo will serve the Jack Rose cocktail, and discuss its history.

Franklin Mortgage and Investment Co.: Head upstairs to the new private space for a lesson on the classic Old Fashioned, and also a modern take on the drink, with peanut butter washed bourbon.

Avance: Join Justin Bogle at the downstairs bar. Enjoy lamb burgers, desserts and a demo on how they craft their smoked maple Manhattan..

Washington Square West

Talula’s Daily: Aimee Olexy will talk about assembling the perfect picnic basket – as you dine on an tea sandwiches, chocolate covered potato chips, olive oil cake, and more of the restaurant’s greatest hits. Sip on Citrus Sangria and Baby Growlers.

Cheu Noodle Bar: It’s all about dumplings and sake at this popular noodle bar. Cozy up to the bar as Shawn Darragh and Ben Puchowitz demo the perfect dumpling, serve a sampling of menu items and pair it all with sake.

Rosa Blanca: Hang with Iron Chef Jose Garces at his new Cuban diner. Learn how to make empanadas, sample the rest of the new menu and sip the perfect mojito.

Queen Village Tour

Ela: Top Chef contestant Jason Chiconski will demo his beloved diver scallop noodles while his bartenders serve up a well-paired gin curry cocktail.

Southwark: Learn all about English-style charcuterie from the chef Sam Jacobson. Craft beer pairing and explanations to match. .

Cochon: Chef Gene Giuffi will show guests how to make homemade sausage and serve it up alongside their cassoulet. Wines to match.
