All Aboard the Craft Beer Express

This Saturday, November 9th twelve beer bars around the city are participating in the Craft Beer Express. From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. buses will be running in a loop across the city with stops at each bar. A pass to the bus is $10 and allows participants unlimited rides.

Each bar is making the day extra special with awesome events.

Kraftwork – Taste of the Midwest
Founders, Bells, Jolly Pumpkin, New Holland, Two Brothers, Goose Island, Great Lakes and Summit will all be on tap.

Johnny Brenda’s – 5th Annual Wet Hop Rodeo & Ranchero Brunch
Local and National fresh-hopped beers will dominate the tap list.

The Institute – Turn to the Dark Side
A stout & porter tap takeover with the Star Wars Trilogy playing on all of the TVs. 

Bishop’s Collar – Does Stockertown Beverage have great beers?
Beers from Founders, Bear Republic, Hoppin Frog, Jolly Pumpkin, Mikkeller, Nogne-Ø and more.

Kite & Key – Firestone Walker
Kite & Key has been stockpiling an assortment of Firestone Walker.

Jose Pistolas – The Retirement Ceremony for Terrel Owens at Jose Pistola’s
All beers 8.1% alcohol, including the debut of Naked Brewings Driveway Sit Ups, an imperial stout with Orange peels

Sidecar – Belgo-Americano Brew Fest 
The best from the best – Ommegang and Allagash.

Pub on Passyunk East – Up Around the Bend, OR
Deschutes Brewing is now available in Philly and the P.O.P.E. is turning all its taps over to the Bend, Oregon brewery.

Devil’s Den – Get Animated Costume Party
Cartoon inspired drafts will pour all day. Look for Two Brothers Sidekick, New Holland Ichabod, Flying Dog Underdog, Saucony Creek Captain Jack’s Maple Mistress, New Holland Mad Hatter and  more.

Brauhaus Schmitz – Holy Schmitz That’s Good Beer!
German Monastery Breweries such as Andechs, Weltenberg, and others will be pouring.

Race Street Cafe – Colorado Night
Featuring beers from Oscar Blues and Great Divide.

Craft Beer Express bus tickets can be purchased online or in-person at any of the participating bars. The busses will run approximately every 25 minutes.

Special Wednesday Only Deal: Go to any participating bars and buy three CBX tickets and get a 4th ticket free. This deal is only good for buying at a bar, not online.
