Art on the Menu at the Continental

For a different kind of night out, check out the “Art on the Menu” event being held at Continental, Old City on Thursday, August 15th. Three Philadelphia artists will be showcasing their creations in an inspired collection meant to be viewed, tasted and drank.

The night is inspired by Sean Martorana’s latest collection – fifteen new works, inspired by the old masters of the Renaissance and Baroque periods in Europe.

After the eyes have been indulged, entertain your palette with Continental executive sous chef Nick Rada, who has created three dishes that are modern interpretations of cuisine of the 15th and 16th centuries.

Finally, Kevin Farrell will be offering guests cocktails that compliment Martorano’s art and Rada’s food.

Tickets are $65 for the food and art, $95 with the cocktails.

As a permanent reminder of the evening, guests will receive a signature food and drink recipe card as well as a special, signed and customized print. No two will be identical, and the prints will never be made available to the general public.
