  • BreastFan

    This is obviously disappointing news

  • Dirndlinmygirndl

Why the change? Too much “kitsch”?

  • anon

Yeah I’m disappointed…the Dirndls were part of the charm. Did the waitresses complain?

  • SadGuy

The view from the 2nd floor will never be the same again…

  • Kate

The new uniforms seem more hipster than German.

  • DKH

After 4 years of Dirndl we decided to go with something a little more modern and comfortable for the girls. Dirndl are a bit costumey and definitely kitschy. We will break out the Dirndl during Oktoberfest season but its good to try something different once in a while. There are about a dozen different variations. Some of them are very German/Eastern European looking.

    I love it!

  • faerlyth

How about this: have the women wear the dirndls for Oktoberfest and odd numbered years, and for the evens have the men wear them. ;p

  • Hans

Can dirndls become optional at least? I thought they were great!

  • SH

Pretty sure every woman will love this change and every man will hate it.
