Starting this Wednesday, July 17th, Pod will be launching Sushi School. Sushi tutorials will be available to eight students for $35 per person. The class, offered at Pod’s conveyor belt sushi bar, is tought by in-house sushi chefs, Tomoyuki Takasu and Mr. Kim. Students will learn to make various types of sushi, observe butchering techniques and learn how to prepare and use ingredients that go into Pod’s signature sushi dishes.
Additionally, students will be offered a menu of miso soup, California roll, tuna hand roll, sorbet, plus a glass of wine. Guests will also receive a mini-sushi kit to take home with them.
Only eight seats will be available per session. Sushi School will be offered Sunday through Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. and from 7:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. for the next several weeks.
