  • That’s really weird that they’re not using the names from the sandwich shop. Say the word Gustaio and I know exactly what that is!

From all the spelling mistakes, they really should have just copied and pasted the menu:

      Cherry “Mustarda”

      “Genao” salami

      “Proscuito di Parm”

      “Chic” pea pancake with “Iceburg”

A cheese steak? I’m awfully disappointed. The guys at the Girard Ave Paesanos have been insistent since the place opened that McAndrews would never allow Paesanos to serve a cheese steak. Seriously, any time I’ve been in there and someone asks if they have cheese steak they always say “Never, ever” and then go on about how cheese steaks are passe and there are much better sandwiches.

The old Ninth Street location had a cheesesteak special at least once.

I’ve been going to the Italian Market location for a couple years and my experience last weekend was the only disappointing one I’ve had. Hope it’s an aberration but the new guys in the kitchen and expansion make me wonder.
