Whiskey School Is in Session at MilkBoy


It may be summer, but school’s still in session over at MilkBoy Philadelphia. Chef Brian Mahon and MilkBoy’s bar manager Evan Maffiore are teaming up for Whiskey School at MilkBoy, Tuesday, June 25 at 7 p.m. featuring four distinct scotches paired with four accomplished dishes for $40. Between courses, guests will get the chance to get schooled by Mahon and Maffiore as they explain the tasting notes and the intricacies of the pairings.

The evening includes live jazz from Jason Long, a 20 year vet of the Philadelphia music scene.

1st Course: Famous Grouse paired with Scottish Salmon, Tarbais Beans, Truffle Butter, Tarragon

2nd Course: Highland Park 12 paired with Bosc and Anjou Pears, Chimay Cheese Soup

3rd Course: Macallan 12 paired with Lamb Loin, Chocolate Coffee Sauce, Chick Pea Fries

4th Course: Macallan 15 paired with Moroccan Pork Tenderloin and Caramel Apples
