Get a Parking Ticket, Get Free Dan Dan Noodles

Han Chiang received a parking ticket while napping in his car yesterday. And his anger is resulting in free dan dan noodles for anyone who comes into the Old City Han Dynasty and shows the staff their own parking ticket.

From Han Dynasty’s Facebook page:

    That’ll teach the PPA.

    Han rocks.

  • marc su

He probably had a Dan Dan noodle himself…clues.

1)too much Carbs he fell asleep.

2)his anger from too many peppers.

  • John

If so, I think they should collect signatures from everyone coming there and petition for fair enforcement of parking violation.

    • Clarck

I checked. It is for real.

      • Mike

Yep got my Dan Dan noodles for a ticket I got today around 6, they were delicious

  • Stev

This is idiotic. Why do people feel entitled to overstay / not pay for parking and think they should be rewarded for it. It’s not that fucking hard to not get a ticket. Pay for the proper amount of time. Leave the space when you’re supposed to so someone else can park and eat.

    • Nick

Isn’t there someone running in a school hallway you should tattle on? NYC has a parking problem, Philadelphia does not. The PPA is taxation entity looking for minor infractions to penalize people, not optimize the flow of traffic or parking.

    • badjack

Yeah, it’s not that hard to avoid a ticket – when you live in the burbs or outer neighborhoods and are only going downtown for events/dinners/etc with a very specific and known timeframe.

Try doing any sort of business in this city that requires a vehicle. It’s damn near impossible to do without getting repeatedly and maliciously ticketed.

    • John

Stev, obviously you dont live in the city or come regularly. If you did, you would have known the issue with PPA is not about law enforcement, its about exploitation and generating BIG $ for the city. It is politics. Did you know that they even issue tickets for legally parked cars?
