Pure Tacos at 1935 Chestnut Street is closing on Tuesday, May 7th after ten months in business. The gluten-free taqueria also had a seasonal location in Ocean City, New Jersey that will not be returning this year.
Chestnut Street has not been kind to Mexican spots as El Fuego, Moe’s Southwestern and now Pure Tacos have all closed. Of course there are still south-of-the-border options in Qdoba and El Rey.
Pure Tacos posted the message below on their Facebook page today.
To all our fans,
We unfortunately have to bring you some very difficult news. Pure Tacos Philadelphia will be permanently closing on Tuesday, May 7th and Pure Tacos Ocean City will not be reopening for its 4th season. We want to thank you for all your patronage and support, especially our followers in the gluten-free community. It has been a pleasure serving you and we will miss your love of Pure Tacos.
Please contact email@example.com for information about the Pure Tacos concept and future opportunities.
