Shiner Beer Comes to Philly

Shiner Beer is starting a new chapter in its extensive history by bringing its classic beer to the Philadelphia area.

Their one-hundred year legacy can be traced back to 1909 in Shiner, Texas where Shiner Brewing Association was founded by German and Czech immigrants in order to create beer that reflected the flavors of their home countries.

Since then, Shiner has steadily developed a loyal fan base, first across Texas, then to adjoining states and eventually across the country to 44 states.

Philadelphia was the largest city in the U.S. that Shiner Beer is not available in. All that changes on May 7th as beer fans will be able to pick up Shiner at their favorite bars and restaurants in and around Philadelphia.

Look for a free Shiner Beer tasting at the Beer Yard in Wayne, on Friday afternoon.
