If you’ve been dying to know what it would be like to stick a cheesesteak inside of a taco, look no further than Bob & Barbara’s.
Bartender Lucky (he goes by Chef Lucky on Facebook) will be serving his homemade concoctions for free during his shift today. He fills a hard taco shell (he has some soft available, too) with chopped steak, onions, peppers, mushrooms and, yes, Cheez Whiz.
Depending on your intestinal fortitude, this may sound like the perfect accompaniment to Bob & Barbara’s famed $3 Pabst-and-Jim Beam combo. If you want in, get there early. “I only made a small batch for today,” says Lucky. “They may go fast.”
Lucky says he’s working on ideas for other tacos and will be starting a taco-of-the-week promotion at Bob & Barbara’s on Tuesday, April 30th.
