More Free Stuff: Tickets To The Philadelphia Wine & Food Festival
Yesterday, we gave you a shot at winning a pair of free VIP tickets to the Brauhaus Schmitz Maifest. Today, it’s a free pair of tickets to the Philadelphia Wine & Food Festival. Maifest is all about beer and sausages. The Wine & Food Fest is all about the grown-up grape juice and grub from some of the best restaurants in Philadelphia. So what do you have to do?
Just tell us the story of the greatest glass of wine you’ve ever had. Or the greatest bottle. Tell us why the wine made a difference that night and why you want to come to the Wine Fest this year. Whoever sells it the best–whoever can really convince us that they have a vested interest in sampling the 600 wines that will be pouring at the event–will win the free pair of tickets.
Easy, right?
The details: This year’s Wine & Food Festival will be held on Friday, May 10, at the SCA Club at Lincoln Financial Field. There will be over 600 wines available for sampling (plus some of the harder stuff), an on-site booze store so you can buy what you like right on the spot, plenty of grub from local restaurants and bakeries and, for the first time ever, a Young Friends’ Tasting aimed specifically at the younger generation of winos.
So now you know. And 600 wines ain’t nothing to sneeze at, so if you’re after that free pair of tickets to this year’s party, it’s time to get writing. All stories of glorious grape juice go in the comments section. Best tale gets the tickets. And all stories must be in by Monday at 5pm. We’ll be announcing the winner on Tuesday.
