Honey’s Sit ‘N Eat Is Kind of Open at 21st & South

Honey’s Sit ‘N Eat finally opened at 21st and South Street today for lunch. First reported back in June of 2010, the branch of Northern Liberties’ Jewish/Southern diner swung open the doors for lunch today.

UPDATE: Honey’s Sit ‘N Eat does not have regular hours yet. They’re “Live Training Exercises” are being held this week at different times. Call ahead to find out what’s going on. 215-732-5130.

    And just like that it opens? No fanfare, no heads-up, no announcement? After two years of waiting, I was expecting something a little more exciting.

    I walked past at 3pm and it looked like some sort of employee training going on. I’m not convinced they are open

    As per today’s Facebook status, I was right. Honey’s has been holding “live training exercises” but are not officially open. Someone needs to do better research.
