Krispy Kreme Shuttering Center City Location

Michael Klein has the details about Krispy Kreme pulling out of its Center City location at 16th and Chestnut. The equipment is going to the upcoming Krispy Kreme in Havertown. The final day for the downtown location is this Sunday.

The writing has been on the wall for the 16th Street location since Naked Philly spotted that the space was listed back in July. No word on what might replace the doughnut spot.

  • charles

  • Really

Everyone needs to get off this places jock. It’s just not that good

  • Jimmy

Half the time you go to Fed(sucks)Nuts, they’re out of something.

  • Steve

The less others go to Federal the less I’ll have to wait in line. I can deal with that. I enjoy my chicken and donuts. Now if only they’d make the fancy ones hot.

  • Barry’s

Probably has more to do with the dozen Dunkin Donuts in a two block radius than FedNutz.

  • Alimentarian

@Charles, Yes, but that place sells something called “donuts.”
