Del Rossi’s Opens in Northern Liberties

Northern Liberties has a cheesesteak void. The neighborhood, of course, is almost bursting at the seams with awesome restaurants, bars, and breakfast spots, but steak joints are few and far between. Del Rossi’s Cheesesteak Co. hopes to fill that void.

Del Rossi’s has been open for about two weeks now, and they have a menu full of all the greasy goodness that Philly has been trying to shake off for the past decade. Think pizza, Nathan’s hot dogs, burgers, hand-cut fries, and of course, cheesesteaks on rolls baked daily. Although their hours are limited at the moment, they’re gradually getting to a point where they can keep the lights on until 3 or 4am on the weekends.

In layman’s terms, they want to be the late-night-drunken-munchies-pacifier of Northern Liberties–apparently hoping to take some weight off the shoulders of 2nd and Poplar’s Dapper Dog.
