Dia De Los Muertos Menus Popping Up Around Town

Halloween may be a little bit damp this year (or, if you live in New Jersey, rescheduled by official decree of governor Christie), but your plans for celebrating Dia de los Muertos need not suffer. We’ve got several area restaurants putting out special menus for the Day of the Dead, and here’s what to expect.


Verdad’s Dia de los Muertos Menu

Chef Nick Farina is going historical and debuting a “family” of al pastor tacos on November 1, and pairing them with some new cocktails and premium tequila flights. The new additions will be on the board all throughout November. Tacos are $2.50 apiece.

El Camino Real’s Dia de los Muertos Menu

El Camino Real is teaming up with Patron tequila for a one-night-only Day of the Dead dinner. It’s prix fixe, $45 per person, and you can call 215-925-1110 for reservations.

Dia de los Muertos Tasting Menus at Cantina Feliz and La Calaca Feliz

Finally, the pair of restaurants operated by partners Tim Spinner and Brian Sirhal will be doing a Day of the Dead tasting menu at both of their joints. The menu will run from October 29-November 4.
