Developer Tony Goldman passed away Tuesday at age 68 of heart failure. He died in a New York hospital with his family at his side. In Philadelphia Goldman has been responsible for the amazing transformation of 13th Street between Chestnut and Walnut Streets. In the past ten years the strip has transformed from a skidrow to one of the most happening stretches in the city.
Goldman Properties has invested in 25 properties on or near 13th Street, many of which include restaurants like El Vez, Lolita, Barbuzzo, Jamonera and many others. His company has had similar success in Boston, New York and Miami.
