A Time For Wine (And Cigars) in Atlantic City

The worst thing about staying in a hotel is running out of booze once you and your partner (or friends) have decided to end the night out and to keep on partying with a night in.

Unfortunately, this can happen even when you’re chilling above a 24-hour casino in the city that’s always turned on, which is why it’s such a convenience that A Time for Wine II has just opened its second Atlantic City location on the second floor at Caesars (the original spot is at the Trop). A Time for Wine II is a super-premium liquor and cigar shop that’s open until 1am Saturdays and midnight every other night (with spirits sold until 10pm every night in accordance with state law).

The store stocks 1,000 different wines, 350 cigars, 200 liquors (including 25-year Glenlivet) and 100 domestic and international beers, so you can impress all your bitches–from the $1000-a-night escort to the cheap hooker you scored behind the taco shop. And Boardwalk Empire fans will be excited to learn that it’s also the exclusive purveyor of Nucky’s Boardwalk Red and Nucky’s Speak Easy Reserve wine. You know, if you’re into wines based on TV shows.

So who needs to travel downstairs for cover charges, lines and the club-goers who crowd mur.mur, Dusk and The Pool just to breathe the same air as Nicky Hilton? Now you can play poker, smoke cigars and supply bottle service, all in the comfort of your very own suite.
