4th of July Specials

Though the parkway will be crowded with thousands and thousands tomorrow and most businesses are closing, a few restaurants will remain open for the holiday. Here are some Fourth-O’-July specials and some places, well, we’re just happy they’re opening.

At Las Cazuelas on Girard tomorrow only you can bring your favorite tequila and they will mix your favorite margarita for free! RSVP is required, so call 215-351-9144.

Morgan’s Pier is hosting a big show with the RockTits! and the Dum Dum Girls who will be performing a DJ set for the 4th starting at 4 p.m. and lasting until 2 a.m.

Amis is serving a BBQ pig dinner for the holiday.

Spot Burger will be stationed at Drexel Park (32nd and Powelton) serving up a special discounted menu: $5 1/4lb. burgers and hot dogs.

Shake Shack will be serving it’s patriotic corn dog at the Philly location for the first time from July 3 to 5th only. The Vienna dog dipped in corn batter is served with sweet corn relish for $4.50. They’re also serving the Blueberry Pie, Oh My concrete, which is vanilla custard blended with blueberry pie.

The Trestle Inn will be open from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. with  $5 Jack Daniels, Jim Beam, and Old Overholt shots and $3 draft beer until midnight. As always, they also have their outdoor seating available as well as new craft beer and whiskey sour pitchers.

If you’re looking to view the fireworks indoors, London Grill on Fairmount has you covered while Bistro St. Tropez has a scenic picture window to view them and their a la carte menu starting at 5:30pm.

Frankford Hall will be selling $1 hot dogs and $2 Gansett lager cans as a special.

Jack’s Firehouse (until 8pm), Federal Donuts (regular hours), Bierstube  (opening at 5pm), Alla Spina, and Percy Street BBQ (opening at 11:30am) will all be open tomorrow so you can get your food fix away from the crowds.

And don’t forget, in celebration of America’s birthday the Philadelphia Parking Authority has been kind enough to make all street metered parking FREE all day tomorrow. See, they can be nice.
