Philly Beer Week Picks for Friday, June 8 #PBW

Resurrection Ale House is exclusively pouring wood-aged beer today. It’s a pretty remarkable list of beers.

If you like your beers like your offensive linemen, big, then Prohibition Taproom is the place for you. The entire tap list is being given over to beers above 10% in alcohol.

It’s the opening day of Euro 2012 (European Soccer tournament) and Spaten/Franziskaner are giving away Das Boots and one liter steins at Brauhaus Schmitz.

This afternoon Khyber Pass Pub is hosting a meet and greet with some of the area’s newest brewers.

At 5 p.m. today you’ll have a chance to check out the still under construction Cambridge and drink fine beers from Maine Brewing.

Deschutes is only available in Philadelphia during Beer Week. Get some today at Doobies. You can’t miss the bar at 22nd and Lombard. They finally have their sign back.

It’s the last day of the With Love Beer Garden at the Four Seasons. Dock Street Brewing will be on hand to debut their latest Four Seasons collaboration, Cherry Verbena Saison.

Nodding Head mascot and brewer, Michael Fava will be bartending this evening at Kennett. As the event says, it’s sure to be “Fun with Fava.”
