Mahogany on Walnut To Close

Cigar bar Mahogany on Walnut will be closing after business on Wednesday, February 29th. Owner Tom Piazza says he has been operating without a lease since last August and landlord, Holt’s Cigar Co. does not want to renew the lease.

Mahogany has been been on Walnut Street for fifteen years and Piazza says he has every intention of reopening in Center City. But as a cigar bar, he has some unique requirements, for instance he does not want any tenants above the cigar bar.
